Crisis Media Training

Four-hour initial session, plus two one-hour CEO follow-up sessions – 12 months ongoing media interview support INCLUDED

This is a completely customised training session which will give participants the experience of responding to a media crisis.

Attendees will face a media crisis when they walk in the room, and then as a team formulate responses as the situation gets progressively worse.

Trainees will have tweets and breaking news pieces to deal with on the hour, as they try to collect accurate information and consult with their key partners.

This is a great opportunity for your communications team and senior executives to put their crisis media plan to the test.

At the end of the session your response as a team will be evaluated, and you will be shown what went well, what could be improved, as well as how.

Advanced Crisis Media Training

Four-hour initial session, plus two one-hour CEO follow-up sessions – 12 months ongoing media interview support INCLUDED

This crisis media training session gives CEOs and executives a framework to proactively respond to a crisis within their industry.

Organisations that manage crisis situations well are able to limit reputation damage, as well as influence and shape reporting through proactively communicating their versions of the story.

This customised crisis media training session will take participants through a staged process of how to proactively manage a crisis hour to hour for the first 72 hours.

Participants will learn how to:
